Taco (noun): Literally Perfection

So I basically consider tacos a superfood. I mean, whats not to love? A homemade corn or flour tortilla, a delicious filling in the middle, and then all of the spicy toppings to make your heart happy, and probably hurt your stomach.

While in Mexico City, I’ll post about nearly every taco joint I go to. Why not. As I get more and more involved in the city and taco joints, I can break it down by neighborhood and types of tacos as well. Hope you all get to pay a visit and enjoy the incredible food of this city.


Taqueria El Kalifa

El Califa Taqueria El Califa is a really awesome spot and the Al Pastor is out of this world. What’s cool about the Al Pastor here in Mexico, is that it’s rotating on an open spit, kinda like how Gyro meat would be in Greece. My native friend told me his biggest quarrel with tacos…
